Strange Powerpak activity

Last night I decided to play Metroid on the Powerpak. Since I have yet to find a FDS rom that works I was playing the NES version. I didn't get too far in to the game when the game reset. I wasn't too annoyed because I hadn't gone far. So, I started over. It reset again only much sooner. Then it res...

I think I'd be more impressed/happy if someone made a VRC7 mapper for powerpak. And maybe an english patch for Lagrange Pointe if one doesn't already exist. I can already play the Japanese CV3 and really that's good enough for me.

OK, so I worked out a pretty good design for the EtherNES: Here's a quick description of how it is laid out: 1. Any cart that wishes to use the EtherNES must connect pin 14 (2A03 R/W) to pin 16 (Exp. 42) on the cart as well as pins 39-41 (2A03 A12, A13, A14) to pins 52-54 (Exp. 7-9). This routes th...

yes, yes it would. I already have one NES modded for sound, but I DO NOT modify my original NES I've had since the 4th grade. I could use the connector to add sound to it without opening it.

For what it's worth before I modded my NES for the powerpak I modded it to accept extra audio from real Japanese carts. In that mod I used alot of test probe wire and a bit of cat5 copper wire here and there and I don't get any buzzing.

Take the resistor off, record the music. Solder it back on, record again.

not always a fortune. But I do see what you mean! Alot of them are more than $100. I got my second one at a garage sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/Nintendo-Entertainment-System-Game-console-original_W0QQitemZ200324159998QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games?hash=item200324159998&_trksid=p4295.c0.m299&_tr...

I would go as far as to say if your NES really has a broken motherboard and the pin connectors aren't the problem you should just go on ebay and get another real NES with a new cartridge connector. NOAC's are not 100% accurate. I don't think I'd ever use one.

I have a new connector in both of my NES's and they both work like new without fail. Why is this not a good solution?

So the big question is, will it work with a powerpak?
