When I went netbook shopping I opted for the Gateway Netbook with a 1.2 Ghz Athlon 64. It runs windows 7 just fine and it does Snes emulators just fine. :D I like. I'd get a blank one and make my own sound module. One that does Powerpak sound and sound from famicom carts.

I think it's backwards because the diagram I posted is looking at it from the end of the connector on the controller wire whereas your diagram is looking at it from the connector on the device.

I wouldn't assume that the clone CPU and PPU would have the same pinouts as the real thing.

It has the pinouts for a 9 pin NES port.

I don't know if this is the right 9 pin port or not for you. I think the first thing I'd try to do is adapt it to the Super NES port. Much easier since you know the pinouts.
