That is a 16bit ROM, replaceable with a 29L3211 with a voltage stepdown to 3.3v or a 27C322 with significant rewiring needed to adapt a DIP to SOC packaging.
Pretty much all of the special chip carts (except for DSPx games) use SOC ROMs.

All *24F032* parts are the same, the letters around them indicate manufacturer and speed. The AM* parts are made by AMD (now Spansion), the M* parts are made by ST. They are the two most common manufacturers of 5V Parallel 4Mx8 parts. You could use a 2Mx16 part with some shift registers, but that ad...

Now the 4X is having issues? I know that I was having issues with the 3X and the MCUMall TSOP adapters, which prompted me to move to the willem adapter just above here. Since I have done that, I have no more issues with programming, however I have not programmed any chips in a few months now as all ...

The files are intended for fabrication, and as such are provided as standard Gerber format. If your application can open Gerbers, then it should work. that being said, why do you need to open it? Do you need to make a change to the design? Otherwise, you just provide the gerber files to your fabrica...

If you are going to program the chips prior to soldering to a carrier, then you want to get either the Type I or Type III. The Type II has A20 and A21 reversed, which is fine if you are going to program the chip the carrier as it will be correct on the 36 pin output. Either that, or you purposely co...

If nuclear or biological weapons became so easy to make that anyone in a high school chemistry class could do it, would you want that information to be public for all? There are some things that the public should not know, because there are too many psychopaths in this world. That is an extremely u...
