Re: Genesis repro with 40 pin eproms
I bought one of these adapters for my minipro and it works great! The design is open source so you can even have them manufactured yourself if you'd like.

Re: GQ-4X4 Rewriting 29F032B does not work
I could never get my GQ-4X to write 29F032-chips or 29F033-chips no matter what, so I bought a TL866CS-programmer and purchased a suitable adapter and it works great! Erasing, programming and verifying a chip takes around four and a half minutes - way faster than my old Willem programmer which took ...

Hypothetically though, would it take a lot of work to port it to the MMC5 mapper instead?

Cool mapper hack, lidnariq! But would it be possible to port it to MMC1 instead? I'm thinking something like SXROM, with the higher address lines of the CHR ROM connected to the PRG ROM? SNROM donors are plentiful and making the necessary modifications to such a board would be trivial compared to ho...

Re: SNES SA1 cartridge adapter being made with level shifte
Cool idea! Would it be feasible to make a similar adapter for regular SNES mask ROMs? If so, would it be cheaper than a 29F032/29F033 flash chip plus the TSOP->DIP36 adapter used in most SNES repros out there?
