Re: Homebrew for Epoch Cassette Vision or Bandai Super Visio
Thanks, I already read this topic but pin 15 seem to be luminance not directly composite video.
The purpose is to add composite video to a Cassette Vision jr. who only has RF out.

Re: Homebrew for Epoch Cassette Vision or Bandai Super Visio
Hello,
There is some thoughts on the real pinout of cassette vision CPU ? I doubt that pin 15 is the composite video signal. When I plug on a TV there is no image. Just a garbled screen.

Re: DMG / CGB Gameboy sound on Nintendo DS - how it works ?
Some games (such as Doom and Pinobee) use the GBC channels for music and the GBA channels for PCM sound Many GBA games use pulse channels. On top of my head I think at Harmony of Dissonance, Kururin, Gradius Gen, Bubble Bobble - Old & New , Advance War, Contra Advance, Final Fantasy IV Advance ...

Re: DMG / CGB Gameboy sound on Nintendo DS - how it works ?
Are you looking for behavior differences between GBC tone generators on a GBA in GBA mode and GBC tone generators on a DS in GBA mode? None of them. My purpose is to know how DS produces Gameboy sound, if this machine is reliable for compose music with orriginal Gameboy feeling. All Gameboy models ...

Re: DMG / CGB Gameboy sound on Nintendo DS - how it works ?
Thanks tepples. But the gameboy APU in DS is hardware or software ?I think those are available only while GBA mode is active, just as 2bpp 160x144 video is available only in GBC mode on a GBA.

Re: DMG / CGB Gameboy sound on Nintendo DS - how it works ?
I know the DS' sound channels have an option to generate square waves or white noise without requiring samples Yes, DS' channels 8-13 generate some "PSG" like sounds. Channels 14-15 can generate white noise. But the DMG APU has specifics features like the wave channel who use a builtin wa...

DMG / CGB Gameboy sound on Nintendo DS - how it works ?
Simples questions :
How works the DMG APU on Nintendo DS when a GBA game is used ?
Is there a real Gameboy hardware APU in Nintendo DS or it's just emulation ?
In DS mode, is DS games can use Gameboy channels ? (2 pulses, 1 wave, 1 noise)

Done ! PAL NES moded to RGB and works flawlessly. The tricky part is the AV box, it converts composite to RGB. First it removes the video signal and keep only the sync. I must take video signal before it's sent to the AV box. Second, there is some component who generate some EM interference and is r...

Necro bump  I am performing a RGB mod on a PAL french NES. Actualy it's done. But I have several issues and not tested yet others ways to obtain a RGB image. That I did : - swap cpu, ppu (rgb) and crystal from an US NES - cutting RGB pins on sony's chip - trace RGB line from 2c03 to RGB out...
