Okay, I have some info that might help. Several of the games created eep save files which load without any trouble for me. Zelda: Ocarina of Time, however, saves as an sra file (SRAM). It creates the file just fine but doesn't appear to save anything to it or be able to load from it. I can force it ...

Interesting. I did a really save and got the 'save completed' text afterwards, but when I hit reset and go back to load the same game there's no save data to select.

Interesting. I did try that... perhaps I have my directories set up incorrectly?

I have two folders on my card, one labeled ED64 with a save folder inside and a second folder called GAMES full of the games themselves. Is there a setting I must change to let the rom know where to find the save data?

I am really sorry to hear others have had issues with this seller as well... his site looks so professional and the few e-mail replies I have gotten from him sounded nice. I'm still hopeful the refund gets processed but it really shouldn't be this complicated. I wonder if my bank would be able to he...

Everdrive64 Saving

Hi, everyone! I just got my Everdrive64 in the mail today from retrogate and I'm really enjoying it. The interface is very simple to use and the games themselves load and play flawlessly! I'm very happy with this purchase! I'm only having one little issue and that's with saving my game. I have two f...

That's good to hear, marvelus10. Two days ago the status of my order went from 'returns' to 'cancelled', though there has still been no refund. I would think it would be the next step...

I did disable DMA. It was listed in the instructional manual pdf as a possible fix. I also tried several different cf cards. I really really wanted this to work and did a lot of research and experimentation before sending it back.

It's okay :) I'm really glad yours worked, though. It really is a beautiful piece of equipment and I tried everything I could to get it working. The craftsmanship is very nice and it's flat-out just a great looking cart. The e-mails I have gotten have been very professional, I just wish they had a l...

Thank you for your reply. I did post several times asking for help here as well as at nintendoage. I tried several different CF cards, several ROM dumps, as well as programs designed to fix bad headers. I really wanted this device to work and fiddled with it for a week. The way the gentleman spoke t...

retrousb customer service...

I was trying hard not to listen to the negative things I had read about retrousb.com's awful customer service, but they're turning out in my case to be true. As some of you may remember, I fed them over 300 dollars in a single night. I placed an order for an NES PowerPak and an SNES PowerPak. The NE...

He gave me a tracking order for my Everdrive64, but I don't know which postal service to check it with. I know it's not USPS just yet.

Thanks, Ramsis! I think the gentleman who sells the carts is a pretty cool dude. He was very polite to me when I explained my problem.
