Re: FDSemu - New FDS drive emulator, with menu and large fla
Thanks to deadbody's help, I eventually determined that my laptop was at fault and the FDSemu was working perfectly fine. For some reason, my laptop doesn't flash games to the FDSemu properly and that's why it was throwing up errors every time I tried to load a game.

Re: Snes mini Dead? No power!
The SNES mini has a fuse, it should be labeled F1 on the board close by the 7805. A blown fuse isn't as common on the mini as it is on the original SNES but it does happen; I once brought back an SNES mini from the dead simply by replacing the fuse. You can use a 125V 1.5A Pico fuse to replace it.

Re: FDSemu - New FDS drive emulator, with menu and large fla
I just got mine today and I haven't gotten a single game to work, they keep giving me either an error 24 or 27 depending on the game. Is it really picky about what dumps you're using or could this be an issue with my FDSemu? EDIT: Just tried the No-Intro dumps and still nothing. I'm thinking mine is...

You might want to edit your post as it was the OP who said that, not me.lidnariq wrote:ApolloBoy wrote:btw: In case I really messed it up, is it possible to get replica PPUs and CPUs? Or do I have to buy a new NES on eBay?

Re: Windows 10...worth it?
I'm just curious, but does anyone here even have a Window's tablet? I still don't see the point... Why not just get a mini PC? Is it because you can't look like a jackass and walk around using it? I have a little HP Stream 7 that I use for when I occasionally need to run a Windows program in a nati...

Actually if you look closer at that guide, it does indeed involve cutting traces.aguerrero810 wrote:This guide i've found to be the simplest to follow and it yields great results, it also doesn't require cutting traces.

I used that same circuit for top loading NESes and Famicoms back when I did modding commissions and it always worked great.

That was quick, I'll be sure to give it a try.Tomy wrote:Here is "delete slot" version fds.exe (modded from V2 fds.exe)
You can delete slot like this :
fds.exe -e 1 (mean delete slot 1)
fds.exe -e 1 3 5 7 (mean delete slots 1,3,5 and 7)
fds.exe -e 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 (mean delete all slots)
