You can use any UV-C bulb that emits within the 253.7nm / 254nm spectrum. I found a local bulb supplier and was able to buy the bulb and ballast for $20. I'd be interested in revising this topic, as I come across Mario Paint carts quite often. Boards like SHVC-2A3B-01 only use a 74SL139 and have 2x 32 pin Mask Roms.
