The DKC3 track is based on Hot Pursuit.
What's wrong with Chrono Trigger and Undertale?

Marshall Art Gallery - VGM/misc cover album using NES+Guitar

Hey guys, my band Marshall Art makes music using a NES and layers upon layers of post rock guitar. We just released a new album, celebrating our five year anniversary and collecting all of the cover songs we've recorded over the years. I sequenced every song in Famitracker (save for one superNSF ele...

Re: NES-compatible USB capture devices

I've got one of the newer Ezcap models now and it works reasonably well with other composite sources but I have yet to use it with my NES. I'll give it a shot and capture some video/screenshots from my NES tonight. I have low expectations. :P After much frustration, I've reached the conclusion that...

Re: NES-compatible USB capture devices

I used to use an EasyCap DC60 knockoff. Stay away from that. Picture quality with the NES was horrendous: the top half of the image had a pink tint, the image was blurry. I used it about a year in a live visuals rig ( seen here ) where the video was processed and distorted in a bunch of ways anyway,...

Re: Please Lose Battle

PLB is awesome. I was on an ELO chiptune tribute album and a compilation with them a while back.
I'm a bit bummed they couldn't make it out for MAGFest this year (they were on the lineup at one point) but hopefully they'll get to come across the pond and play here sometime in the future.

Re: Super Russian Roulette: A New Party Game for the NES

I couldn't tell how serious you were in your earlier post. In other news, my entry placed second in the BotB competition! Woo! It's probably the most nuanced NES composition I've ever made. It's pretty cool to know that a song I wrote will be included on a NES cartridge that's already sold nearly 10...

Batsly's version has been in development since 2013: http://www.batslyadams.com/2013/07/nesd ... 2.html?m=1

...and to be fair, the game mechanic is not exactly that novel.

Re: 8bit Music Power Cart (internals)

Just wanted to pop in and leave a thank you to genepensive for digging up how to repair the cart. Got my cart up and running this afternoon!

EDIT: 8+ hours at 300bps later, I can confirm that it dumps correctly with Tape Dump's MMC3 settings.

7 hours left, and Batsly's only a few hundred dollars away from meeting the $80000 stretch goal, which will allow him to double the CHR memory.

Re: Anyone Interested in a Combined NES + Gameboy Cart?

Hi all, long time listener but first time caller. * Full expansion audio support like the HDMI adapter * 1/8" stereo jack on the end of the cartridge that allows you access to line out stereo audio - no system mod required * Audio would also exit in mono form on the usual pin for those that wan...
