What's the protection? Is the GoodNES dump hacked? I know I've seen Pooyan on an (illegally) emulated multicart somewhere... (EDIT: The multicart is 100-in-1 Contra Function 16. Thanks for the tip, tepples.)

Portuguese(?)-language discussion should probably go in the NESdev International forum section, but somebody might be able to help you here if you explain what your variable names/comments mean.

Oops, didn't read your post carefully enough... Even if money were no object, Quietust might be too busy to work on transferring the wiki to another server right now. Also, what evidence do you have to prove that your server is reliable?

Something about the monetary cost, maybe?

Off the top of my head, what I have heard is: If you want to make a reproduction cart of SMB2j, use Loopy's MMC3 hack, not a pirate version.

Oops, I should have realized that ! apologyNeeded( ) was pretty much a given... I think some of you might be making this too complicated: The bug was simply a coding typo. To be specific, line 653 in NstPpu.cpp: if (phase != &Ppu::WarmUp || stage < WARM_UP_FRAMES) should really just be: i...

That's a sensible answer, if no magic is involved.

It took me a while to realize that this was a legitimate NESdev question...

blargg's test ROMs need updating?

Nestopia doesn't emulate the CMC'80s Demo correctly because of what Marty has determined to be a VBL power-up timing bug (link). As I stated in that thread, I couldn't seem to find a test by blargg that is specifically for this issue. Does blargg need to update his tests?

Try to avoid NESten, as it isn't very accurate.

I'm trying to recall whether Nestopia has a workable cheat searcher. (This isn't my normal home computer I'm posting from...) EDIT: Well, probably not, but you might be able to try using Nintendulator. Note that it is slower than Nestopia, though.

Need to take a break...

I would like to announce that I will not be reading these message boards for a somewhat uncertain period of about 2 weeks to 1 month. The reason for this is threefold: (1) I need to re-establish a workable identity for myself on Wikipedia and on several other sites where I am still known as "-_...

I was not trying to argue with you. My last two posts in this thread were meant to clarify my impulsiveness, not simply to argue. I really hope there will be no punishment, although deletion of my -_pentium5.1_- account wouldn't be so bad (and a temporary ban wouldn't be either, because I need to ta...

One last EDIT: I reposted a link by mistake. My point was that most of the people on the Snes9x boards didn't get the fact that my username was based on a chocolate product. I also liked your original Pentium nickname, with the extraneous characters added. Oh well, that's what I get for acting on im...
