Considering that Nintendulator crawls on my PIII 800MHz, especially with the more advanced games, what likelihood is there it will run any faster on the Xbox's 733MHz PIII? FCE Ultra has one feature few other emulators can match, its ability to display at a variety of resolutions, including user de...

Only Nintendulator can claim mastery over Micro Machines. I don't know if there is a (cartridge) game I can throw at it to break its reputation as 100% compatibile with licensed and unlicensed games alike. Somebody needs to port Nintendulator to the Xbox. The old FCE Ultra port is looking a little ...

VirtuaNES can be set up, so its almost 100% authentic But are there programs that will run on a real NES but not on VirtuaNES or vice versa? Another user sticks to the opinion that if you use only emulators for testing a newly developed program, you might as well just write your game as a native pr...

Even worse yet is that the Kevtendo clone, which is supposedly super accurate, might not ever see the light of day. What makes you say that? It just seems like he isn't willing to make Kevtendos himself by hand, find an investor to mass produce Kevtendos, or sell the intellectual property to somebo...

People need to stick to one simple name for the Yobo FC Game Console USA Version, to make it easier to talk about and search for. I also wish they sold an all dull-black version, like they did for the Neo Fami. It looks allot nicer. Too bad they didn't keep the controller ports standard, even on the...

SDL is good for general games... However I don't think it's practical for an emulator. I considered making an emu with SDL when I started mine (in fact I looked at several cross-platform libs), but it turned out they were either all graphics and no UI... or all UI and no graphics. If there were som...

What we need is an SDL or Allegro port of Nintendulator so that future platforms, especially Free platforms, will be easier to support. (And shouldn't this be in the NESemdev forum?) An SDL version of Nintendulator would be the best, IMO. SDL would make OSX, Linux, and Xbox ports quite straightforw...

Nintendulator on Linux
I have heard great things about the accuracy of the Nintendulator NES emulator. However, even though it is opensource, it only runs on one platform: MS Windows. However, with no effort whatsoever it runs in Wine on Linux, by just double-clicking the executable after unzipping it into some directory ...

They're adapters for the Chameleon USB (a device I've been promoting for years) Sorry, I must have been out of the loop. Can you give any more info? Do you have one? I am interested in buying one, but I don't know how to read/write Japanese... hell I can only recognize a few spoken Japanese words. ...

Hello there! Can anyone please be so kind to tip me on a good NES backup-system and/or where I can (safely) buy one? I just changed the connector on my good ol' NES and thought that it would be nice to write something for it as well. ;-) There is currently no backup system, copier, or dev kit for t...

$25 for a famiclone + NES adapter or does that also include a Squeedo? Famiclones aren't very accurate, are they? Even the newer ones such as the Neofami are supposedly crappier than emulators such as FCE Ultra. I have a new in box AV Famicom, but I read some somewhere that the Famicom lacks certain...
