OP:
I have just launched a new Kickstarter for my homebrew project: Eskimo Bob for NES. It is a puzzle-platformer title that I have been working on for the past few months. Please check it out and consider backing a new NES homebrew title. I also have a demo ROM available below. Thanks!

Not intentionally, hahaha... I just looked it up and it's pretty eerily similar though. It's actually a dumb little song I made up a few years back called Great Big Poop. Thought it would make a good background loop... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp4FnYx1r2A
I played the demo. I like it. Understanding the level design while the level warps around on itself it a puzzle in itself. Music is also catchy. My only request is that on the title screen that you make it such that the UP and DOWN D-pad buttons toggle through the menu options.

Thanks for the feedback! I intentionally didn't allow for d-pad movement on the title screen so I could implement the Konami code

I liked it a lot. There continue to be a few (and apparently dwindling) number of folks who don't like a zillion arpeggios and slides exploding in their face every 2 seconds. Not that that can't be good. Sure it can. But simplicity's good too.
Thanks! The music has been tweaked a bit for the final release, but only slightly. I'm quite happy with it. Used palette swapping to animate the water too, which looks much nicer than the demo.
