NesDev in Orkut...

Hi guys!

I have an idea....why not create a NesDev Community in Orkut?
Is a good idea, right? Which the opinion of all?

It is a web of community, that can be used to speak w/ friends, meet guys, as a message board, more info in www.orkut.com (in english or portuguese)

Sounds like all that would do is split the community.

One place is better -- that way you don't have to fetch info from two seperate boards and you don't have to keep up with two seperate boards.

If people there are interested in nesdev, they'll find their way here.

It sounds like an alright idea. Maybe there's a coder or artist out there who otherwise wouldn't think about doing NES stuff? Who knows.

Orkut seems to be a lot different than this place, being invite-only. I can't tell much from it's intro page.

Orkut is a big place to meet people, and also NES coders (why not?)
As for invite-only question, I can invite any guy to enter in Orkut!
