backwards Solar Storm BRR waveform

Post by jeffythedragonslayer »

Why does the Solar Storm BRR waveform appear to go backwards in time in the ASCII-art function graph?

https://problemkaputt.de/fullsnes.htm#s ... spbrrpitch

Code: Select all

   ___     __
  |   |___|  |    _       \ ! /  .  \ ! /  Nibbles=77DE9HZK, Shift=3M, Filter=V
  |_     ____|  _|  --->  - + -  +  - + -  SOLAR STORM wave-form
  __|   |______|___       / ! \  '  / ! \

You can make the SPC700 play a Solar Storm sound by having both the SPC700 and 65816 write to the $FEED register at the same time.
