Is there a way to define a color overlay in certain screen areas of fceux?
The thing is: I want to be able to see the whole 240 pixel rows, but I want to be reminded that the first and last eight rows are usually cut off due to overscan. So, is there some way to put some half-transparent strip of color at the top and bottom?
(In the emulator itself, not in the game. I know that I could enable the color emphasis with PPUMASK, but I want to avoid this and use the emulator itself for such stuff.)

Re: Color overlay for fceux available?
I have drawn overscan guidelines using Lua in Mesen. I suspect that the same is possible using Lua in FCEUX but have not tried it myself.
Re: Color overlay for fceux available?
Thanks for the help. Lua seems to be the right thing for me. I checked and it has pixel and line drawing functions.
