An additional transient 200mA and an average 80mA of working current are required.
Usually, poor power supply can lead to bootup failure. The ESP8266 power supply pin should be connected in parallel with a large capacitor. However, if this capacitor is too large, it will cause oscillation to the system LDO (the capacitor charge will be poured back to the LDO input during shutdown), which may cause abnormal rewriting of SRAM archive data. Therefore, it is recommended to connect a diode in series after the system LDO output and serve as the VCC for 8266, and then connect the capacitor in parallel here

I've been working on the NES Rainbow mapper a lot lately, trying to squeeze a bit more features and fixing some issues.
I also ported it for the Everdrive N8 Pro so everyone can now play with it on their computer with Mesen2 or with their NES!
So if anyone is curious, links are below.

- Everdrive N8 Pro mapper is available here
- Test roms are available here
- Documentation is available here
- Custom Mesen2 version with WiFi support is available here

If you have any feedback and/or questions, you can contact me here, or on the NESdev Discord server, or on the Broke Studio Discord server.

Have fun!
