Hi guys .
Among my collection I have a multicart that has a problem when playing it .
It worked well at first for years but I suddenly found out that it no longer works well . I don't know if it's related but I guess that happened after a friend of my brother licked the cartridge because he thought it would increase its connectivity and it worked for a while then it became like that
And some games give black screen

thank you for answeringtepples wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 10:48 am Symptoms in screenshots:Given these, I would try to clean PPU data line 3. That's the pin right next to the power pin according to the cartridge connector pinout and check its continuity into the board as far as you can.

Isn't that the second pin from the right on the front side of the cartridge? Which is called PPU D3 ? Is that the pin you're talking about?
Sorry I'm noob .

I know this is quite dated, but you're right
What I find common in multi-carts is that their ROM chips are set in the label side of the cartridge just like mine.
Clean that pin with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip (cotton buds).

Okay, I stumbled across a couple of videos using a technique to repair cartridge edge connectors with copper tape. It looks like your cartridge's edge connectors might not be connected properly to its respective PCB traces.
