Hello All,
I bought a non-working SF III that was missing the memory card addon and decided to reverse engineer the PCB to make my own. Here are the files in case anyone else may find them useful.
There were bodged 30p and 100p capacitors that I've added footprints for on the PCB, and I have also added a PLCC-32 footprint for the ROM. The rest is original.
Edit: I have made two small fixes to the DS01A-3 PCB files. The spacing for the SNES footprint was off by a small margin. The slot still fits with the old PCB, but this is a better fit. One screw hole was also off by 1.5mm in both x and y directions. That is fixed now.
Edit2: 100 pF capacitors need to be added to the CAS lines on the memory addon board for stability. New Kicad files are now available, however these can be added externally to the previous boards with no issues.
Edit3: When assembling a 16M memory board for the internal slot (must disassemble the unit to reach), no capacitors should be used on the RAM PCB. 100 pF caps are only necessary on the second 16M addon RAM board. Placing the DRAM chips on the main board footprints resulted in unreliable performance. I assume the mainboard is too noisy for the DRAM to be located there. Placing the DRAM chips on the removable PCBs works perfectly.

Hi, yes it is working fine now. I am figuring out how to use a GOTEK with it, but everything is detected and showing properly

I am using Flash Floppy 3.42, and I have the floppy drive working fine now. The settings I needed were IBMPC for FDD type, and jumpers on JC and S1

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but what is this and what does it do?
I am neurodivergent, so if any of my posts unintentionally upset you, I apologize.
