Any 2a03 Keyboard Programs?

Anything that lets me use the keys on my computer as a piano? :P

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I've been used to using computer keys for trackers that I'd probably be more fluent in using those than actual piano keys.

So are there any programs that allows for hitting multiple notes & customizing? Like if I hit any notes lower than C-3, it will be triangle or if I hit D#3 it will trigger noise?

I swear, I've seen something like this before.

I suppose something like that might be possible to make with Famicom Keyboard.

I'm not clear exactly what you're trying to do? I feel like any remotely modern multivoice tracker would let you do that. (e.g., set up Schism Tracker with a few chip samples and adjust the mapping on the "f4" screen)

Thanks! I'll take a look at these.

I want to make a spontaneous NES composition that I guess would be the equivalent of a guitar solo.

If you need MIDI, I would recommend trying MIDI-OX. It has tracker-style keyboarding, and you can remap any MIDI note/command to anything.

If I'm bored in a few weeks, I might try writing a CopyNES based program to midi control my NES. It would be pretty neat to just play it with a keyboard, plugged into my computer by USB.
