Cinemassacre really went over the many weaknesses of vampires.
Because vampires are actually The Count, and must count grains of rice scattered on the ground.

I guess games were ported to C64, MSX, etc. because even ColecoVision/SG-1000 style 1bpp sprites were better sprites than other home computers available in Japan and other MSX markets had at the time. Not everybody who could afford an 8-bit home computer could also afford a separate game console, and some MSX markets had much higher import duties for dedicated game consoles than for home computers.
