Hey all. It always seems like I can never get anything right but I assure you i've made 12 games so far haha.

My issues always revolve around not getting the right info or whatever.

So I made Time Diver Eon Man, got a TSROM board, burned, threw it in... nothing. Cart just reads blank like its dirty.

I tried to find some info online but couldn't really get much or a solution, whether its a bad dump of the game or if it needs a specific mapper etc.

Anyone else come across any issues with that? Wiring is perfectly clean, chips verified, checked two different roms of the game etc.

I've made the game using a TSROM.

I used a dump from the internet, doesn't matter where. Test that it works in FCE ultra or another emulator.

Download and use READNES2, and follow the instructions to split and/or pad the rom into a PRG and CHR file.

Verify that the TSROM donor works.

Burn the eprom to 27C2001 eproms (best from my experience).

Solder the wires carefully as described below. Solder the legs of the eprom as well (just saying... lol). I know that sometimes the compression of screwing the cart back together can cause issues, so try the cart with less torque of the screws.

TKROM & TSROM (mapper 4):
PRG socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks 2, 24, 30 and 31)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 24 to GND (OE)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
Solder pin 31 to hole 2 (A18)
CHR socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 22, 24, 30, 31 (or cut tracks 2, 22, 24 and 30)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 22 to hole 31 (CE or CHR /A13)
Solder pin 24 to hole 2 (OE or CHR /RD)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)

hrm... weird. I canned the game for now.

I took the wires off the chip and burned Bio Force Ape in its place and it worked first try. I read you can also use a TLROM. Im gonna try that.

TLROM is fine.
