Megaman music
I need a chiptune artist to create some replacement PSG tracks for Megaman 1, for the PC-Engine. I have a Redbook version of the game, but I also wanted to do a PCE chiptune version as well (whatever kind of remixes to the existing sound track style). Do you know of anybody that would be interested in this? Or the best place to ask around for this kind of request?
Re: Megaman music
You should ask on VGmusic.com, although the place has been dead lately. Also good luck, as the PCE is not that popular of a system. But Megaman music sure is *very* popular on vgmusic.com

On vgmusic.com, the left margin Quick Links section has links to Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and IRC that may be alternative ways to ask.VGMusic.com homepage 12/20/13 wrote:UPDATE: Given the continual (but failed) attempts of spam bots to register with the forums (about 10 every hour!), we have turned off normal user registration. Currently pondering old fashioned e-mail requests for registrations.

Re: Megaman music
The sound chip is pretty close to the SCC chip in the MSX, which is fairly similar to the N163 addon chip for the famicom. I have a few different sound engines to choose from, that I'm gonna modify to use with the game. I was hoping the kind of get a chiptune artist feedback while I did this (features/FX/etc). Guess I'll do some work first, then ask around.Bregalad wrote:You should ask on VGmusic.com, although the place has been dead lately. Also good luck, as the PCE is not that popular of a system.
