Post by JHAOC »

Helle overy1,

I recently bought this eprom programmer:

If I connect it with an USB cable it makes a strange noise.
My usb does not reagotnize it and the software sais: "Programmer not found"

Can anyone help me?
Help is much appreciated!

1. Contact the manufacturer of the programmer and ask for support,
2. Contact the seller and ask for a refund (sounds like it's damaged).

3. Buy a better programmer cause that one is weak.

That's the problem with buying cheap stuff, you depend a lot on luck... I had a lot of EPROM programmer problems with the cheap Willem I had, but since I have decided to spend a little more on a decent programmer I haven't had any issues.

You should definitely contact the seller if you can't get it to work. If you do get your money back, consider spending a bit more on the next programmer you buy.
