Hi guys,
Got a couple of PAL top loader mods done, one with a TRRS connector and the other with a Multi AV connector. They work fine except the picture has bad colour, I've attached a few photos. I was told that I may need to amplify the video signal to make it brighter, can anyone steer me in the right path?
Thanks.

Transistor is a PNP 2N3906.
Re: need to fix a modded top loader
hey thanks for that. i'm not very familiar with pcbs and soldering so I'll be getting a friend to do it for me. is it possible to solder this directly to the board or does it have to be on a little pcb as per the diagram supplied?
Re: need to fix a modded top loader
Preferably you want to do it on a board and not 'dead bug' it. You can buy cheap 4x6 CM 'prototype' boards on ebay.

Of course you only need 6 rows x 6 columns, so just cut it to size.
Alternatively, people sell them pre-assembled on ebay, but at a grossly overpriced cost.

This circuit is so simple it can be assembled "floating" on the NES/Famicom mainboard....

is it easy to connect to the AV Multi pinout?
