So I got a TLSROM board, PRG good, and I see that hole 2 goes right to CIRAM 10.

Wired:

Pin 22 to Hole 31 (/CE)
Pin 2 to Hole 24 (A16)
Pin 30 to Hole 2 (A17 -> CIRAM 10)

But where does Pin 24 go? I grounded it to Pin 16.

Got garbled graphics, altho working. Is it really supposed to be A16 not A17 as it says in the wiki?


**SOLVED**

I fixed this. I wired A16 to hole 2 (CIRAM 10) and it worked, using the same schematic as a normal TLROM wiring.

So the wiki is wrong, its not A17, its A16. At least when using a TLSROM board and game.

Err, Pin 22 to hole 31 is only for CHR Roms, not PRG!
Simply connect pin 22 to hole 22.

Pin 24 to GND is correct though.

That was the wiring for the CHR. 22 is just GND for CHR.

Are you absolutely certain about that? TLSROM supports up to 128KB of CHR ROM (and every game in NesCartDB which uses TLSROM has 128KB), which leaves A17 to control mirroring (and both Nestopia and my own emulator use A17 and emulate those games correctly).

Now, TQROM is definitely known to use A16 to select between ROM and RAM, and both of its games were limited to 64KB CHR ROM as a result.

Also, from my notes gathered here and on other website this is correct for TKSROM and TLSROM:

TKROM & TSROM (mapper 4):
PRG socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 24, 30 and 31 (or cut tracks 2, 24, 30 and 31)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 24 to GND (OE)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)
Solder pin 31 to hole 2 (A18) (N/C on TLROM)
CHR socket:
Bend up pins 1, 2, 22, 24, 30, 31 (or cut tracks 2, 22, 24 and 30)
Solder pin 2 to hole 24 (A16)
Solder pin 22 to hole 31 (CE or CHR /A13)
Solder pin 24 to hole 2 (OE or CHR /RD)
Solder pin 30 to hole 1 (A17)

TKROM -> TKSROM
Lift MMC3 Pin 10
Connect MMC3 Pad 10 to MMC3 Pin 12
