64k sram equivelant?

Post by Tormenter »

I bought a couple boards that I am going to try to populate. Is there a 64k sram chip that I can use, outside of using a donor cart? Thanks

If you're interested in non-volatile FeRAM which doesn't require a battery I have a few adapter boards sitting around. Otherwise, a quick search on DigiKey produces this as a viable alternative (there are a few more, but this is the cheapest one in-stock. The photo looks like a narrow 0.3" DIP, but the product spec does say it's actually a wide 0.6" package, which is what you want (although a lot of boards do have the dual footprint that would support a narrow package if you went with that).
