I am looking to purchase a complete surround sound system, but am having difficulty determining which products support Dolby Pro Logic 1 and 2 decoders. I want to be able to hear audio as far back as the Super NES across 4 or more speakers. There are some games here: http://www.gamnesia.com/articles/throwb ... nd-on-snes
Do you have any recommendations? I would like something that is fairly new and supports other formats like Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 as well. It seems difficult to find if the system has the inputs and the decoders.
Any help is appreciated.

The process of generating prologic and ProLogic 2 encodings is rather simple; wikipedia explains.
I'd honestly be surprised to find multichannel analog "receivers" that didn't support prologic decoding. The magic word to check for now seems to be "pliiz", an obtuse acronym for "prologic 2 with Z-axis encoding"
