Snes mini RGB problem (green tint)

Post by klonoa »

Hi all

I have this very strange problem with this snes mini.
I've RGB modded it. (3 wires from the s-rgb chip with the 75ohm resistors)
This one: http://retrorgb.com/snesminirgb-original.html

I've done this before and it worked like a charm.
But this one has a very strange issue: It shows green where there is supposed to be red.

The real strange part is that it doesn't always do this.

A small list:
Y = it has the problem
N = it doesn't have the problem

Directly on my sony trinitron CRT: Y
Trough scart switch A to my CRT: Y
Trough scart switch B to my CRT: N
Directly on my sharp LCD: N

I am in a PAL country but I have a NTSC snes which doesn't have the problem on any of the setups.
I also used multiple cables (incl the one I use for my NTSC snes) all had the same effect.

I'm really confused now..
Does anyone have a hunch what the problem is?
Thank you.

Solved!

I accidentally swapped red and green... Yes, I'm an idiot.
Still.. Weird that it worked good on some setups isn't it?
