Hi! I am currently testing my SNES and SFC controllers. Some needs to be fixed and cleaned etc.
Is there any homebrew that let's you test the controllers?
I have tried these, using my PowerPak but it doesn't work.

These program tests one button/direction at a time. It would be better if it showed what you pressing instead... Then it's easier to try, and find out what buttons that doesn't work.
Anyway, does you guys have any suggestions on software that let's you try your controllers?

Until someone suggests a homebrew input test, you could pop in Kirby's Avalanche.

Are you saying the test cart roms don't work on your powerpak or you are having issues testing your controller with that program?
The test cart controller tests walk through every button in order but they will light up the button as you push it regardless of order. I had a bad controller that lit up every button at once.

OP wants "A, Left, and R are currently being held down", not "Please press Left". If I didn't have
this hanging over my head, I could make one tonight, but because I do, I can't.

I'm saying the repair center test cart does that, as well as walking you through buttons in order if you want. Unless I'm remembering wrong.

The main problem is that the rom-file wont load in my PowerPak. Has anyone tried any of these "test cart" roms in their PowerPak? I tried it in an emulator, works fine, and YES, you can try any button. Even if it asks for "UP" the other buttons light up on the screen when pressing them... It also works to try player 2 joypad.
After trying to find any rom I gave up. I tried the Kirby Avalanche but it wouldn't start on my PAL SNES. "This cartridge don't work bla bla".
The final solution was to dig out a SNES to USB converter from the closet. Probably the easiest way to try buttons! I used the Windows USB Controller thing in the control panel.
