27C322 to 27C160 conversion

Post by Tormenter »

I purchased a board that requires 27C322's. I have ready before you can convert them to use 160's. The only difference I see is the 322 has A20, and the 160 has BYTEVpp. Would All I do is leave pin 32 on the 160 (BYTEVpp) floating? Or does it need tied to something? Thanks

The /BYTE pin means byte mode when 0 or word mode when 1. A 27C322 is always in word mode. So on a 27C160, lift it and tie it to Vcc.
