Nes keeps crashing

Post by klonoa »

Hey all,

I've put a nesrgb in my ntsc nes.
The results are a little strange:

Top gun the second mission does start up and shows the title screen but as soon as the cinematic would start up the screen goes black.
Turtles 3 just shows the beginning text and goes black right away.
Low g man shows garbage right away.

Do any of you know where i should look?

Thanks in advance!

Check your Power Supply maybe. If you have a Sega Genesis Model 1 power supply brick then try using that. It should say on the PSU that it outputs 9VDC at 1.2amps. Maybe the power supply you are using can't handle the additional load.

Also, you didn't mention specifically, are the games really crashing? No video or audio? Or is it playing blind?

Will do.
Top gun and turtles go black, no video or audio.
Low G man shows a gray rectangle that is supposed to be the rectangle where the intro in shown and also no audio.

Thanks for the reply.
