I have been thinking about the VS Dualsystem quite a bit lately and have been thinking about game idea that would be fun
VS Shufflepuck Cafe
While there is an NES port of Shufflepuck cafe (the port itself is not as good as on other systems... I personally prefer it on the 68K macs), it would be awesome to see a similar game made for the VS Dualsystem where two players can duke it out. Imagine playing head to head sitting on opposite sides of a VS red tent. how can pong style games get much better than this!?
VS Battleship
Another one that would be interesting is a two player game of Battleship, once again using opposite sides for each player.
VS Super Mario War
Who here has played Super Mario War? I have spent many hours playing it on a soft-modded xbox and even on PC ports. This is another game that would be awesome to play on a VS red tent
anyone have any other ideas that would be fun?

How does the Dualsystem work? The wiki suggests there is 2k of shared RAM that is traded with IRQ signalling?
I didn't realize Shufflepuck Cafe had a Famicom port. Kinda surprised it didn't get an NES translation, since the original game was western made.

Do we know whether there's anything to test Vs. DualSystem development against other than MAME?

How would you quickly move the racket with just a joystick and two buttons?WhoaMan wrote:VS Shufflepuck Cafe

I know: modify the zapkernels for Zap Ruder to read the serial Zapper instead of the normal Zapper, then play ZapPing.how can pong style games get much better than this!?

Four player ZapPing !!
I guess each side would want to be logically rotated by 90° relative to the other...

A Quick-draw game: the VS Duelsystem.

I guess it would have to be more pong like and less air hockey... but it could still be funtepples wrote:How would you quickly move the racket with just a joystick and two buttons?WhoaMan wrote:VS Shufflepuck Cafe
