That lasted almost two years. It's down again.

Unfurtunatelly I think that's not a good sign.
Does anyone knows if BootGod and his family are fine?
It they're OK, I insist that would be a good idea to mirror BootGod's site somewhere else.

Has anyone cloned this site yet?

I might be able to get a back-up of it hosted temporarily, if someone has a back-up.

I ran teleport website crawler on 2016-05-10 and got around 65000 files (1.25GB, 300MB after compression). The dump was incomplete because I stopped it after a few hours as far as I remember, but the archive contains:
* HTMLs for 4556 profiles (100% of them that was available that day)
* around 12000 images out of 13054? (10000 out of them are unique, because some are in two or more resultions) (shells, labels, pcb), mostly in low or medium quality (unfortunatelly no full screen photos)
* all CopyNES plugins

The website in that form is non-serachable of course. Preferrable way would be to write some kind of HTML crawler that would:
* grab all data from the profile htmls (game name, mapper name, etc) and store it in database (SQLite?)
* write PHP viewer that would allow searching/displaying profile by its id, basing on data from mentioned database
* upload that working site's clone somewhere

Looks like the good ol' Wayback Machine has a few copies, it's fairly navigable.

Using the Browse Database box on the top right allows you to load cached alphabetical game lists, and the game pages will load up from there. Search is broken, obviously, but this is an ok workaround for now...

Any chance one of you guys with a partial data base could share a list of some NES games with UNROM-03 board? I have a famicom game I am having some trouble with and I want to do some testing with a donor and obviously NES donors are easier for me to come by locally.

If it helps to have a simple list (for NES only), there's always the old boardtable.txt

OK, but also add the possibility to download the SQLite database (and get a direct link to it), to be able to search it locally.

I still think it would be best as a client-side javascript thing, so you could host it on any site that allows static content, or run it from your hard drive.

As compressed XML, it's about 300K. But there are probably more efficient ways to encode the same data.

is ok to ask for a copy of that?

if you're thinking js interface, json data format is much more efficient storage wise than xml. i'm a bit behind on current client storage/db approaches otherwise.
