I replaced the CIC in Captain Tsubasa 3 from SNES to allow running it on PAL console. Game boots, but there is no text and graphics looks a bit garbled. On the other hand, I did similar converison with Captain Tsubasa 4 and it plays fine. Can this be fixed?

I never played the game in PAL but have you tried replacing the 74'139 on the board? Or the capacitor (C4) next to it. I've had faulty SHVC-1A3B-XX boards myself.

Did the game run properly before in NTSC though?
