The RUN position is correct. So unless your kazzo is defective, which I don't believe is true, the problem should be with the software setup.
I have thought about it a bit and maybe you forgot to flash your kazzo with the original firmware. Change the switch position, plug it in and open original kazzo.bat (or similarly named file). Change back position to run after unplugging it and try again with anago. Test it with SMB3 with mmc3 script.

Most of these tpyes of multicart are game combinations of BNROM-like and NROM, with 8KiB Chr RAM to emulate Chr ROM.
The Chr RAM write disable bit is set to the register through the menu header. When emulating BNROM, disable write protection, and when emulating NROM, enable write protection

mapper #230 is a duplicate of mapper #226, which conbines an UNROM with it and changes different mapper mode based on reset.
mapper #230 is the multicart of the multicart.
mapper #233 should be the duplicate of mapper #226, although it has not been rightly documented yet.
