Hello all I got done modding my SNES with the SuperCIC board from a member here and recapped the whole system and all was working great till as I was cosing up my SNES mianboards clock crystal fell off... so I ordered another one and installed it and now im getting the below issues even after adjusting the color pot

also while installing the new crystal I relaced the power supply CAP aswell so id have a full system recapping

Maybe the load caps for the crystal is the difference? Does it have load caps? They’d be real small, usually in the pico farrad range... probably SMT packages. I don’t really know but would be my first guess from what you described of a before and after symptoms.
