Pretty cool! It's only missing some bad boxart for the NES version. Like Megaman 2 boxart in contrast to the Rockman 2 boxart.

Or just make the characters angry and call it a day.Pokun wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 6:41 am Pretty cool! It's only missing some bad boxart for the NES version. Like Megaman 2 boxart in contrast to the Rockman 2 boxart.
The Rockman/Megaman example isn't really justified IMO. That they continue releasing new games using those Megaman boxart (and even putting that horrible character into some crossover games) is more like an intentional joke/meme, (self-)reflecting how bad they had been in the past.

Yes and I meant it as such a joke. Though it might actually make some collectors buy both versions.

Lol, never! That only happens when you have suits and moneymen in charge of art!Pokun wrote: Tue Mar 09, 2021 6:41 am Pretty cool! It's only missing some bad boxart for the NES version. Like Megaman 2 boxart in contrast to the Rockman 2 boxart.
Special collectors edition box art has just begun! Expect cuteness!

Hi all, it's been a while.
We had a number of delays resulting in a change of programming staff, and a large gap in development while we got a lot of stuff refactored, but huge progress and a lot of improvements have been made, and we had our 1st western demo shown at MagFest Retro Indie a few weeks ago, where we won best gameplay! It's been an uphill battle but had we rushed it, it wouldn't be the game it is now.
We also showed the game at Tokyo Sandbox indie event last year. It's amazing that the majority of Japanese gamers don't know that people are still making Famicom games..
If you haven't been following on X / Bluesky, we probably have around 4 months left to finish up multiplayer and add a huge amount of polish. The cartridge is almost at bursting point!
Recent mini trailer

We've opened our Kickstarter "coming soon" page to allow people to register their interest, and a playable 1 world demo ROM is coming very soon!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/92 ... nd-famicom
We have a few features and interviews with the staff coming up also.
Sorry it's been so long, there's been a lot going on, and I neglected to post any updates. Sorry!
