but didn't master it
The great programming genius, Mr. Optimizer, Mr. "30 % more compression than SMB", didn't master the screensavers. You can't make this stuff up.

... To be honest, I don't understand him. If he can't program games, why doesn't he honestly admit it?
Yeah, that's the big riddle. I think he likes the praise. Being seen as a good artist isn't enough for him, so he wants people to give him praise for his vaporware.

Alp is a very complex character, as in general all really very gifted people are.
Complex character my ass. Being "gifted" doesn't justify that you're a fucking liar.
And regarding the "very gifted": O.k., he can draw. So what? Have you seen the stuff that my graphics artist is able to produce? "City Trouble"'s in-game graphics are far below her actual potential because I specifically wanted her to do 1985-era sprites.
Have a look at a small slice of what she can come up with:
And guess what: She's not a drama queen who lies about her abilities.
So, yeah. Alp may be able to draw, but it's not like he's the the next Picasso or whatever. There are many talented artists out there and they don't need some excuse for being full of shit.
One more thing:

He cursed with everyone and slammed the door, closed the projects.
You see how even the people familiar with him get duped by him? He "closed the projects"? How did he close them? How do you close a project that is not real to begin with?
Remember, we're not talking about an artwork project, but about an apparent game.
If you have a bunch of artworks, but zero code, where's the effective difference between "I'm still working on the project by writing zero code" and "I shut down the project and will not write code for it anymore"?
