(Let me repeat: I won't be a real NESdev'er for a while; I'm just a curious fan. That's why I put this question in General Stuff.)
Is there any document describing the functionality of the current version of the Squeedo mapper? Any comments on the general status of development of the Squeedo hardware or of programs that use it?

Here's a (somewhat outdated) doc I wrote about it:
http://membler-industries.com/squeedo/2 ... mapper.txt
It's pretty basic and needs a lot more info added to it.
Almost all the stuff in there is implemented, some of it though is just in a test form and not tied into the main program properly. It works, the firmware can be re-flashed at any time too. I want to get all the important parts into place before I can begin general distribution of the cart though.
There's not any special software for it yet, besides some sound synth tests and a few little demos I made with it. Right now I'm in the progess of getting beta versions in the hands of a few developers/musicians. I'm still looking for someone who's interested in using PIC assembly applied to an NES program (for speed, or just for general craziness).
