What causes Alfredo and Jigsaw to fail on most emulators?

Post by puppydrum64 »

From what I understand these two Action 52 games don't boot on the actual cartridge either. They'll run on NESCafe and NESten but not on everything. Has anyone figured out why?

That's not really information, it's just saying that both buggy games are on the same bank.

There are a couple bytes that are "mastered" wrong in the roms for lack of a better term. Rom dumps can be patched to fix the bytes for emulators. There is an old thread around here where someone debugged it and provided the offsets.

Its not all carts fyi, the earlier(?) release plays fine as it dont have the same issue.
