Hi.
Just noticed that puppydrum64 deleted ALL of her posts. Her username has been removed; that’s ok, but why do all of a username’s posts perish when that username is removed?
This is terrible for others trying to learn. She even posted what she learned about VRC7. It’s all lost now.

There are other forums where a username is listed as “removed” and so their posts stay forever. This seems great for a learning forum where questions are just as important as answers given.
Deleted username removes all of their posts?

Something weird is going on with the forum's database, even old users like tepples and rainwarrior have vanished, along with their posts. It doesn't look like the data is gone, but for some reason the system can't fetch it.

Ooh! It’s a general server problem? Hmmm… maybe the harddisk needs to be replaced?… Yes the data is still there, the reply counts are still the same.
Hope it can be fixed soon. Glad you are still here! Thank you for your reply tokumaru!

Hmmm… maybe the 19 new threads by Antonio…, in General, have something to do with this odd extreme problem.
EDIT: …and the 14 threads by agrohim… in General. Why all the usernames with different ending characters? We could prevent users from creating different similar usernames, for a certain time period, at least.

"We" can't do anything because the webmaster is basically AWOL.

Ooh
Well, if anyone near the server could be contacted… have them shut the server down, and if it’s Windows, run dos command. That should fix any disk errors and attempt to recover information stored there.
Maybe there’s some bad sector in an odd location causing these phpbb malfunctions.

Someone must know of the server… its access to the internet has been paid for.

Uh. Why would you assume the machine is running windows?
Anyway, I've reached out to WhoaMan and he stopped in yesterday to do ... something ... but I don't know what ... and things are still broken. I'll give him a couple more days before I ask him politely again.
