All of the VTs have swapped duty cycles. Any romhack that would target a real VT chip to try to enhance a game must swap the duty cycles in the music and sound effects.
I wonder if we need a NES header flag for rom hackers that want the easy way out, an emulator that will emulate the VTxx, but not swap the duty cycles.

The VT32 and VT369 do not swap duty cycles. And no VT03 emulator swaps the duty cycles, to my knowledge, not even EmuVT, which is part of VRT's development kit.
