Reverse Engineering pcb KONAMI 35161 mapper VRC2a Poko Poko Daimaou / Twinbe3

project finish ( REVERSE ENGINEERING PCB VRC2a ) Mapper 22 :beer: :D

notes on the vrc2a mapper:
note that A10 CHR VRC addresses are NC. and ROM address CHR A10 A11 A12 A13 A14 A15 A16 are connected with 1 bit + in VRC. VRC CHR A18 on GND. (VRC support 512k CHR lol o0)

I came across differences in the chr rom of the konami vrc2a mapper and I decided to maper a pcb is not finished yet , concluding post here

Looks good. What software did you use? Please also check out Krzysiopcb. Krzysiobal made it for this purpose. It interfaces to Eagle, works with the last free version of Eagle.

vrc2x compatible games ( note . vrc2a does not run on vrc2b. )
and not the other way around either
vrc2b is connected a10 on a10 a11 on a11 chr etc
mapper 22 uses unique vrc connections in chr rom

Hackable though, it isn't too bad to find all the registers and flip the bits. I did that with at least 1-2 of these when I made a VRC2/4 multicart years ago. I think some games can mix VRC2 and 4 pretty much too, I can't remember the differences but they are really similar.

VRC4 was clearly intended to be upwards compatible with VRC2, but the wiki documents the one buggy VRC2 game that has issues with it (where it writes $FF to the mirroring control register by accident but wants VRC2's $01 = Horz instead of VRC4's $03 = 1scB)

excellent. I'm still looking for the AX5208C documentation (AX5208P is different) I noticed that my kid dracula cart doesn't work with the ax5208C. (AX5208P works) weird right?
