What does the B stand for? (bit 12 of SFR)

"Battery?"
Or "both?"

It is set to 1 when the WITH instruction is executed, so I would guess it means "both".

Yes I agree, on half-page 24 of the patent I found it described like this:
Both SReg & DReg set. Set by WITH
