Hello,

I'm new to the forums and have been collecting for some time now.
Lately i am buying much more obscure stuff like proto's, testcarts, demo's etc. and i am at the point that i really need a CopyNES.
I live in Europe but have quite some NTSC proto's, i have some PAL formats also but i am doubting which to get.

Which CopyNES is best to get, the PAL or the NTSC one? I would need a step down adapter for voltage right if i get the NTSC format?

Also are they still up for sale, i tried mailing Kevtris but i don't get any responce, anyone here who could help me?

Thanks for reading,
Hakan

CopyNES is a piece of hardware (and "behind the scenes" software) you install yourself into a NES. You don't need a stepdown because it draws power directly from inside the console and I'm sure you have a AC adapter for your NES.

I'd install it in a NTSC NES if only to dump games 17% faster.

Hey thanks for the info, so it's best to get the NTSC version.
Is there a consolised version available or do you really have to make it yourself.
I am not all to technical but i've read Kevin's ite were he explains.
Is he still building for people also, i would be interested to buy one if so.

Yeah, he's still building them for people last time I checked. Especially if it still says so on his site.

I mailed him again on his comcast email adress. I hope he can help me since it's essential to get the data from my proto's.
There are 4 unreleased games in my hand that need a back up.

A for sure way to catch Kevtris is on IRC; EFNET in #nesdev.
