Ah you mean the diacritic? It's called dakuten (or more commonly "tenten"). It's what makes the "so" (そ) a "zo" (ぞ).

Here are all hiragana and katakana. Do you need a table file? ROM hacking has several guides here. Fill out all hiragana and katakana with their respective CHR numbers like that in a text file called "[ROM name].tbl". You can load the table file in a hex editor that understands table files like WindHex32.

Where are you getting stuck on creating a table file yourself?

I think it should look something like this:

Code: Select all

80=ア
81=イ
82=ウ
83=エ
84=オ
...
That's the first 5 katakana (a, i, u, e and o).
I don't know if the CHR numbers are right, it was just a guess from looking at your screenshots. They should be in hexadecimal, you know hexadecimal right? If not check the hexadecimal guide over at ROM hacking.

I mean the entire table of hiragana and katakana along with the characters that I can't pronounce, I marked with arrows to make it as a .tbl file and send it to me by email [email protected] make me a table oh one more thing because there is a certain problem how can I fit more text in the game because the Japanese name is shorter after translating this text the word player came out from Japanese after translating in Google using an image but I could only write playe because the r didn't go in anymore because there was no space and one more thing the character that I indicated earlier has the number FE when I changed it to a letter then after loading the game it resets it to the title screen is there a program that would fit more text in the game despite the limitations

I'm not making any tables, but you can do it yourself given the examples above.
As for diacritics it seems they are added separately to characters some way, so they might not work nicely with a table.
I have no idea how to expand the space.

Where exactly are you failing in creating the table? Have you made a text file with equal signs flanked by the CHR number on one side and the character on the other side?

I mean the problem with writing r because the Japanese character in the hex editor is recognized as FE and when I change it to a letter or a number after loading the save with changes, it resets the game after loading it with the change of this FE character, for example the number 72-b and when I put FE back not 72, it loads normally without resetting and there is still a lot of space in the empty spaces to add letters and numbers

I created a strange table from A-Z but it looks strange, all the Japanese letters hirakama and katakana are made with the alphabet from A to Z but I still can't figure out what's wrong
