I don't know her nor the games she coded... but I just say that it really sucks. As I had a very close relative who died of cancer in his mid-60s, in only 1.5 year, I can testify this sucks really hard.
Useless, lumbering half-wits don't scare us.

My favorite story was about figuring out that SNES DMA registers were considered fast memory, so if you execute code from the DMA registers, it's faster than running from ROM or RAM. That was used to make Out Of This World run faster.

I also remember talk about her SNES port of Out Of This World / Another World and remember reading about her when digging into gaming history.

I had several relatives and close acquaintances sentenced by cancer and some that quickly passed away soon after just like this. I guess it's natural but it's not fun.
