Yes, after about 3 & 1/2 hours of running the rebuilding program (and who knows what else). Finally! Thanks for the help, Quietust.

Weird that it didn't work before I went to bed (shortly after the rebuild finished). The forum works in mysterious ways.

I did some additional stuff earlier today, mainly consisting of using the "restore backup" admin function to drop and recreate the search tables. Once I did that, I ran the search rebuild and it worked great.
