EPROM burner for Linux

Hey guys,
I'm starting some NES dev, and I want to make some EPROM cartridges I can mess around with on my CopyNES system. Trouble is, I use Linux.
Does anyone know of a good EPROM burner that works in Linux? Preferably one that uses the serial port, as my parallel port will be in use by the CopyNES, and USB means you have to fight with drivers.

Is there any reason you want to use EPROM instead of Flash? Re-using EPROMs is just a big PITA. Especially if you have a CopyNES, you can do things the easy way with a devcart like the one I made (which is available).

I guess that doesn't help with the Linux thing.. but if you can already run the CopyNES host prog, you'd be pretty much set with FlashROM (and a custom cart).

Ahh, excellent, I had forgotten about that. Ordered one.

I'd still like to pick up an EPROM burner though, it would be cool to make a few carts for friends or whatever. So if anyone knows a good one that works well (even in Windows), let me know.

i was thinking about getting a burner too, but it would need to work on osx and/or linux. i do not have windows here.

Has anyone tried using the copynes client in dosbox?
