What versions on Nestopia do you two have? I think that makes a difference.

Curious, but is NesDev the closest thing to a Game Genie development community? It seems like with all the tools available by this time there should be a site put together all about new codemaking.

BTW- If you want requests, please make multi-jump or high jump codes! I love those! For any game.

You know what would have been really sick? Like every gamemaker out there knew the Game genie existed, why not make areas that were completely inaccessable without one. It would have been so awesome to hide items there. Like all the players could see this platform that's just out of reach. You get up there using a high jump code or something, then a big message could come up saying "You fucking cheating bastard!!" or something.

If you are making your own game, feel free to use that idea!

Lol, this is the kind of stuff that only Rare would do.

So I decided to go look for GG codes so I could cheat and finally see the ending of this game. Turns out there is only a couple of codes out there, the only useful one was "infinite lives". So I broke out my debugger and started working on creating some new codes for this game. I was pretty successful, and finally completed this game. Holy cow was the last boss battle difficult. I can't imagine how difficult it would be without cheating. Anyway, I figured I share my codes, in case anyone else found them useful.

POXVGOON: infinite health
SXNYPYSA: infinite time
OXVNIYSX + GVNYZYLT: infinite time and infinite magic
SAVINGDA: Shuriken become Spin Slash
SAVSSGXA: Windmill Shuriken become Spin Slash
SANIUGEA: Fire Wheel becomes Spin Slash
I was very happy the first time I completed the game legitimately for the first time. Unfortunately I had used emulators and save states to practice beforehand. Jaquio can be beaten once you know his patterns, and the demon is more a matter of patience.

The Shuriken become Spin Slash code is reported as invalid.
